Safety: Unplug before cleaning.

Steps:

• Change water type: Use distilled or demineralised water instead of hard tap water.
• Clean tank and base: Thoroughly descale the tank and base with a vinegar solution, then rinse.
• Install demineralisation cartridge (if available): Some Russell Hobbs humidifiers accept a demineralisation filter cartridge in the tank. Install or replace it as recommended.
