Humidifier leaks water around the base during operation

Safety: Unplug the humidifier and empty water before inspection.

Steps:

• Inspect tank: Remove the tank and check for cracks or damage. Replace the water tank if cracked.
• Check cap and O‑ring: Examine the tank cap and rubber O‑ring. Replace the tank cap seal / O‑ring if it is flattened, cracked, or missing.
• Valve alignment: Ensure the spring‑loaded valve in the cap moves freely and seals properly when pressed.
• Fill correctly: Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Reassemble and test for leaks.
