Possible Causes
Cracked or misaligned water bucket, Blocked internal drain channel, Loose or cracked drain hose connection (continuous drain mode), Clogged condensate outlet at evaporator tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping.
Steps:
- Inspect bucket: Remove the water tank and check for cracks or warping. Ensure the bucket seats fully and evenly when reinstalled.
- Clean drain channel: Locate the condensate drain outlet under the evaporator coil. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to remove slime or debris.
- Check continuous drain: If using a hose, ensure it is firmly attached to the Sencor drain port, slopes downward continuously, and is not kinked or blocked.
- Level the unit: Make sure the dehumidifier is on a level surface so water flows correctly into the bucket or drain hose.
- Inspect seals: Check gaskets around the bucket and drain port. Replace any damaged seals.
