Possible Causes
Defective NTC sensor in water reservoir, Sensor wire broken or corroded, Connector loose on control PCB, Main PCB sensor circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier and empty the water tank before opening the base.
Steps:
- Locate sensor: In Sencor ultrasonic humidifiers, the water temperature sensor is usually mounted in the base near the ultrasonic transducer or in the water channel.
- Inspect wiring: Check the sensor leads for damage and ensure the connector is firmly attached to the PCB.
- Clean area: Remove any mineral deposits or slime around the sensor using a soft brush and white vinegar, then rinse and dry.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance at room temperature. Replace if open, shorted, or far from expected value.
- Replace sensor: Install a new Sencor water temperature NTC sensor if needed.
Note: If F2 persists with a new sensor, the control PCB may need replacement.
