Possible Causes

Room temperature below minimum operating range, Faulty ambient temperature sensor reading too low, Unit placed near cold draft or window

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal work is required for normal LO operation.

Steps:

  • Check room temperature: Use a thermometer to confirm the room is above the minimum temperature specified in the Sencor manual (often 5–7°C).
  • Relocate unit: Move the dehumidifier away from cold windows, exterior doors, or unheated spaces.
  • Sensor check: If LO appears in a warm room, test the ambient NTC sensor as described under E1 and replace if faulty.

Note: LO is often a normal indication, not a fault, when the room is too cold.
