Empty or improperly seated water tank, Failed ultrasonic transducer, Heavy scale on transducer surface, Faulty water level sensor preventing operation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
Steps:
- Check water tank: Fill the tank to the recommended level and ensure the cap is tightened properly. Seat the tank firmly on the base.
- Verify water flow: Confirm that water flows from the tank into the base reservoir when installed. Clean any blockage in the tank valve.
- Clean transducer: Gently clean the ultrasonic disc with a cotton swab and white vinegar to remove mineral deposits.
- Check level sensor: Ensure the float or electrodes are clean and moving freely. See F1 for details.
- Transducer replacement: If there is still no mist and the unit indicates normal operation, replace the ultrasonic transducer assembly.
