Humidifier leaves white dust on furniture and surfaces

Safety: Unplug the unit before maintenance.

Steps:

• Switch to distilled water: Use distilled or demineralized water to greatly reduce mineral dust.
• Install demineralization cartridge: If your Sencor model supports it, install or replace the demineralization cartridge in the tank.
• Clean surfaces: Wipe affected surfaces with a damp cloth to remove existing dust.

Note: This is not a hardware failure but a water quality issue.
