Possible Causes
Partially scaled ultrasonic transducer, Clogged mist outlet or duct, Fan running slowly due to dust buildup, Low water level in base
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the water tank.
Steps:
- Descale transducer: Soak a cloth in white vinegar and place it over the transducer area for 20–30 minutes, then gently wipe clean.
- Clean mist outlet: Use a soft brush to remove dust or deposits from the mist outlet and internal ducting.
- Check fan: Inspect and clean the fan blades. Ensure the fan spins freely and is not obstructed.
- Refill water: Ensure the tank is adequately filled and seated so water fully covers the transducer in the base.
