How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening. Capacitors can retain charge; avoid touching bare solder joints.
Steps:
- Check outlet and cord: Test the outlet with another device. Inspect the power cord for damage.
- Internal fuse: Remove rear panel and locate the fuse on the main PCB near the AC input. Test with a multimeter. If blown, replace with the same rating after checking for shorts.
- Visual PCB check: Look for burnt components or cracked solder joints in the power supply area.
- Control panel: If the main PCB has standby voltage but the display is dark, the display PCB or touch panel may be faulty.
- Replace PCB: If the power supply is dead or badly damaged, replace the main control PCB.
