Possible Causes
Failed base temperature sensor, sensor dislodged from heater/evaporator, wiring damage, main PCB sensor circuit failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the humidifier and allow it to cool if it has a warm-mist or hybrid function.
Steps:
- Access base: Remove the water tank and base cover to expose the internal components.
- Locate temperature sensor: It is usually attached to the heater block, evaporator, or near the outlet air path.
- Check mounting: Ensure the sensor is firmly attached and not hanging loose. Reattach with clips or heat-resistant tape if needed.
- Inspect wiring: Look for damaged wires or loose connectors. Reseat the connector on the PCB.
- Replace sensor: If the sensor is open/short when tested with a meter, replace it with the correct temperature sensor for your Sharp model.
If H3 remains after sensor replacement, the main control PCB may be defective and should be replaced.
