How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. Be prepared for water spillage when disconnecting hoses.
Steps:
- Check continuous drain: If using a hose, disconnect it and ensure it is not kinked or clogged. Flush it with water.
- Drain adapter: Verify the drain adapter on the back of the unit is fully inserted and sealed.
- Internal drain channel: Remove the bucket and inspect the drain outlet from the evaporator tray. Use a small brush or pipe cleaner to clear slime or debris.
- Pump overflow: On pump models, open the pump tray and ensure the overflow float is not stuck in the up position. Clean as needed.
- Test operation: Reassemble and run the unit with a short, downward-sloping drain hose or just into the bucket to confirm P2 clears.
