Aging mechanical switches, Spilled liquid into control panel, Cracked control PCB, Loose front panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control area.
- Clean exterior: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove grime. Do not allow liquid to seep into the panel.
- Inspect from inside: Remove the control panel cover to access the PCB. Check for signs of liquid damage or corrosion around the buttons.
- Test switches: Press each tact switch directly on the PCB. If they feel mushy or do not click, they are worn and the PCB or switches should be replaced.
- Replace panel PCB: Install a new Stadler Form control PCB if multiple switches have failed.
