Possible Causes
Low refrigerant charge, Blocked capillary tube, Dirty evaporator or condenser coils, Room temperature too low for dehumidification
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning. Do not attempt to open the sealed refrigeration system yourself.
- Check room conditions: Ensure the room temperature is within the operating range specified by Stadler Form (typically above 15–18°C). At low temperatures, little or no water will be collected.
- Clean coils and filter: Remove and clean the air filter. Vacuum dust from the evaporator and condenser coils to improve heat exchange.
- Observe operation: After running for 30–60 minutes in a humid room, check if the evaporator is getting uniformly cool and slightly damp. If it remains warm, the refrigeration system may be faulty.
- Professional diagnosis: If coils are clean and conditions are correct but no water is collected, a sealed system issue (refrigerant leak, compressor problem) is likely. This requires a refrigeration technician and may not be economical to repair.
