High Humidity Limit Reached
Humidifier displays 'HI' and stops humidifying

Possible Causes
Room humidity above setpoint, Faulty humidity sensor reading too high, Humidifier placed too close to sensor or wall
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is needed for basic checks; unplug before opening the housing.
- Check room humidity: Use an external hygrometer to verify actual humidity. If the room is already very humid, the unit is behaving correctly.
- Relocate unit: Move the humidifier away from walls, windows, or direct mist contact with the built-in sensor (often on the top or side of Stadler Form units like Eva).
- Sensor cleaning: Lightly dust the humidity sensor opening with a soft brush. Do not spray cleaners into the sensor.
- Sensor replacement: If the display shows 'HI' in a clearly dry room, the humidity sensor module may be defective and should be replaced.
