How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit immediately. Do not continue using a device that overheats.

  • Improve ventilation: Move the humidifier to an open area with at least 20 cm clearance on all sides.
  • Clean vents: Vacuum dust from all ventilation slots and grilles.
  • Monitor temperature: After cleaning and relocating, run the unit under supervision. If the base still becomes very hot, unplug and discontinue use.
  • Internal inspection: If comfortable, open the base and inspect the power board for burnt components or discoloration. Replace the power board if any damage is found.
