Humidifier leaks water onto the table or floor

Safety: Unplug the unit immediately and wipe up spilled water to avoid slipping or electrical hazards.

• Inspect tank: Remove the tank, dry it, and inspect for hairline cracks, especially around seams and handle. Replace the tank if cracked.
• Check cap and gasket: Examine the tank cap O-ring or gasket for deformation, cracks, or missing sections. Replace the gasket if damaged.
• Verify seating: Ensure the tank sits flat on the base and that the valve engages properly. A tilted tank can leak around the valve.
• Clean overflow paths: Some Stadler Form bases have overflow channels. Clean any debris or scale that might block proper drainage back into the reservoir.
