Dehumidifier continuous drain feature not working (water still fills bucket)

Safety: Unplug the unit and remove the bucket before working on the drain.

Steps:

• Hose routing: Ensure the drain hose slopes downward from the dehumidifier to the drain with no upward loops or kinks.
• Check adapter: Remove the drain hose and inspect the drain adapter on the back of the unit for debris or scale. Clean thoroughly.
• Internal spout: With the bucket removed, locate the internal drain spout that directs water to the hose. Clear any blockage with a small brush or pipe cleaner.
• Secure connection: Reattach the hose firmly to the adapter, using a clamp if necessary to prevent leaks and air entry.
• Test: Run the unit and verify that water flows through the hose and the bucket remains empty.
