Water Leakage / Drainage Fault
Dehumidifier leaks water onto the floor

Possible Causes
Cracked water bucket, Misaligned bucket not sealing to drain port, Clogged internal drain hose, Frozen or blocked evaporator causing overflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before tilting or opening. Avoid spilling water into electrical areas.
Steps:
- Inspect bucket: Remove the water bucket and check for cracks or holes, especially at corners and seams. Replace the water collection bucket if damaged.
- Clean bucket and port: Clean slime or debris from the bucket and the drain port where water enters the bucket.
- Check internal drain path: With the bucket removed, look for the small drain trough and hose leading from the evaporator to the bucket. Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to clear any blockage.
- Leveling: Ensure the dehumidifier is on a level surface so water flows correctly into the bucket.
- Evaporator icing: If the coil is icing heavily, address airflow and temperature issues as described in other entries; melting ice can overflow the pan.
