Dehumidifier display shows CF after extended use

Safety: Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier before removing the filter.

Steps:

• Remove filter: Slide out the air filter from the rear or side of the unit.
• Clean filter: Vacuum off loose dust, then wash with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
• Inspect coil: With the filter removed, visually inspect the evaporator coil. If dusty, gently vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
• Reset indicator: Reinstall the filter. Press and hold the filter reset button (or follow the user manual) until CF clears from the display.
