Sunbeam Reduced Mist Output

Humidifier produces very weak mist output even on high setting

Possible Causes

Partial scaling on transducer, Low water level, Blocked mist channel, Fan running at low speed due to motor wear

Safety: Unplug before cleaning.

Steps:

Fill tank: Ensure the water tank is full and properly seated.
Descale transducer: Clean the ultrasonic transducer with vinegar as described in F1.
Clean mist path: Remove and clean the mist nozzle and any internal baffles. Rinse thoroughly.
Fan check: Verify that the fan is running at normal speed. If airflow is weak, the fan motor may be failing and need replacement.
