Dehumidifier shuts off after a few minutes even though humidity is high

Steps:

• Verify humidity: Use an external hygrometer to compare room humidity with the dehumidifier's display. A large discrepancy indicates sensor or control issues.
• Relocate unit: Ensure the unit is not placed in a corner where it re-samples its own dry exhaust air.
• Inspect humidity sensor: Locate the humidity sensor module and ensure it is positioned to sense room air, not inside the cabinet. Clean dust from its vents.
• Replace sensor: If readings remain inaccurate, replace the humidity sensor module. If the problem persists, the main control PCB may be miscalibrated and require replacement.
