Dehumidifier display shows HI and runs continuously

Steps:

• Confirm humidity: Use a separate hygrometer to check room humidity. If it is extremely high (e.g., >90%), the HI reading may be accurate and the unit will run continuously until humidity drops.
• Clean sensor: Access the humidity sensor module near the air intake and gently clean its vents with a soft brush or compressed air.
• Check wiring: Ensure the humidity sensor harness is firmly connected to the main PCB.
• Replace sensor: If the room humidity is normal but the display remains at HI, replace the humidity sensor module.
