Humidifier has a bad odor during operation

Safety: Unplug before cleaning.

Steps:

• Disassemble and clean: Empty the tank and base. Wash all removable parts with warm soapy water.
• Disinfect: Fill the tank and base with a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water. Let sit for 30 minutes, then scrub and rinse thoroughly.
• Dry between uses: If not using daily, empty and dry the tank and base to prevent bacterial growth.
• Replace filters: If your model has a carbon or antimicrobial filter, replace it according to the manual.
