Humidifier is on but produces no mist

Safety: Unplug before cleaning.

Steps:

• Check water tank: Ensure the tank is filled and properly seated so the valve opens into the base.
• Descale transducer: Clean the ultrasonic transducer disc with a vinegar solution as described in the E1 humidifier entry.
• Clean mist outlet: Inspect the mist nozzle and outlet channel for blockages. Clean with a soft brush and rinse.
• Check fan (for warm/cool mist models with fan): Ensure the small internal fan is running to carry mist out. Replace the humidifier fan motor if not operating.
• Replace transducer: If cleaning does not restore mist, replace the ultrasonic transducer assembly.
