TCL False Bucket Full Detection

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before inspecting the bucket area.

  • Re-seat bucket: Remove and reinstall the bucket firmly. Make sure it is fully inserted and level.
  • Check float: Inspect the float inside the bucket for free movement. Clean off any mineral deposits.
  • Inspect bucket tab/magnet: Some TCL models use a plastic tab or magnet on the bucket to trigger a sensor. If broken or missing, replace the bucket.
  • Test bucket switch: Locate the bucket full switch inside the cabinet. Manually actuate it and listen for a click. Test continuity with a multimeter and replace if faulty.
