How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit. Wear gloves and a mask if you are sensitive to mold.
- Clean bucket: Wash the water bucket with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean filter: Wash or replace the air filter to improve air quality.
- Access coils and pan: Remove the front cover to expose the evaporator coil and drain pan. Use a coil-safe cleaner or a mild detergent solution to clean surfaces. Do not soak electrical components.
- Dry thoroughly: Allow the unit to dry completely before reassembly. Run the fan-only mode (if available) for 30 minutes to help dry internal parts.
