Possible Causes

Out-of-range humidity sensor, Sensor contamination, Loose sensor connector, Faulty main PCB ADC circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.

  • Reset and test: Power cycle the unit and compare the displayed humidity to a separate hygrometer. If readings are wildly inaccurate or F0 appears, continue.
  • Clean sensor area: Remove the front grille and gently clean dust from the humidity sensor area with compressed air.
  • Check sensor connection: Access the control panel and ensure the humidity sensor plug is firmly connected to the main PCB.
  • Replace humidity sensor: If F0 persists, replace the humidity sensor module with a TCL-compatible part.
  • Control board replacement: If a new sensor does not resolve F0, the main PCB’s analog-to-digital converter may be faulty and the board will need replacement.
