How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the cabinet.
- Access evaporator: Remove front cover and filter to expose the evaporator coil.
- Locate sensor: Find the sensor clipped to the evaporator tubing or fins. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Inspect and test: Check for damaged wires. Measure resistance and compare to specification. Replace the sensor if readings are abnormal.
- Secure routing: Route the new sensor wires away from the fan and sharp metal edges, securing with cable ties.
