Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power cord, Failed main control board power supply section, Tripped household breaker or bad outlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening. If you are not comfortable working around mains voltage, seek professional help.
Steps:
- Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance. Reset any tripped breakers or GFCI outlets.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the power cord.
- Access main PCB: Remove rear or side panel to expose the control board. Locate the onboard fuse (often a glass or ceramic fuse).
- Test fuse: With a multimeter, check continuity across the fuse. If open, replace with the same rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
- Board replacement: If fuse and cord are good but there is still no power, the main control board’s power supply may be failed and the board should be replaced.
