Steps:
- Access control area: Remove the top or front panel to expose the display board and main PCB (location varies by Tosot model).
- Check harness: Locate the multi-wire ribbon or harness connecting the display board to the main board. Ensure both ends are fully seated and locked.
- Inspect for damage: Look for kinks, cuts, or burn marks on the cable. Replace the display-to-main board harness if damaged.
- Clean connectors: If you see oxidation, gently clean contacts with electronic contact cleaner and reinsert.
- Board substitution: If wiring is intact and E6 persists, either the display board or main PCB is defective. Typically, the main control board is replaced first, followed by the display board if needed.
