• Ambient temperature: Avoid operating in very hot rooms (above manufacturer’s spec). Excessive heat can trigger overload.
• Power reset: Let the unit cool for 30 minutes unplugged, then restart.

Technician-level:

• Check the compressor overload protector and wiring for discoloration or loose connections.
• Measure compressor amp draw; if significantly above nameplate rating, the compressor may be failing.
• If overload or compressor is defective, sealed system service or compressor replacement is required by a professional.
