Control buttons on the Trotec dehumidifier or humidifier do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.

• Check cable: Open the top/front panel and ensure the ribbon cable from the keypad to the main PCB is firmly seated.
• Clean contacts: Use contact cleaner on the connector if corrosion is present.
• Replace keypad or panel: If specific buttons fail consistently, replace the control panel or keypad assembly.
