Safety: Turn off and unplug the humidifier before removing the tank.

Steps:

• Check water level: Fill the tank to the recommended level and reinstall it carefully, ensuring it is fully seated.
• Clean level sensor: On many Trotec humidifiers, the level is detected by metal electrodes or a float. Remove mineral deposits with white vinegar and a soft brush.
• Inspect float: If there is a float in the base, ensure it moves freely and is not stuck by scale or debris.
• Check magnet/reed switch: Some models use a magnet in the float and a reed switch in the base. Verify the magnet is present and the reed switch wiring is intact.
• Replace sensor assembly: If F0 persists after cleaning and correct tank placement, replace the water level sensor or float assembly.
