Dehumidifier or humidifier display shows HI and may not control humidity correctly.

Steps:

• Verify humidity: Use a separate hygrometer to check actual room humidity. If it is extremely high (e.g., after flooding), allow time for the unit to reduce humidity.
• Dry the sensor: If the sensor is visibly wet, power off and allow it to dry completely.
• Clean and inspect: Gently clean dust from the sensor module and check the connector for corrosion.
• Replace sensor: If HI remains regardless of actual humidity, replace the humidity sensor module.
