Possible Causes

Failed humidity sensor module, Sensor contaminated by dust or chemicals, Loose sensor connector, Faulty humidity measurement circuit on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect from mains before opening the control panel.

  • Reset and verify: Unplug for 10 minutes and reconnect. If F3 reappears, continue.
  • Locate RH sensor: The humidity sensor is usually near the air intake grille or behind the front panel, connected to the main PCB by a small harness.
  • Inspect and clean: Gently remove dust with a soft brush. Do not spray cleaners or water on the sensor element.
  • Check connections: Ensure the sensor plug is fully seated on the PCB and that no pins are bent.
  • Replace sensor: If F3 persists, install a new humidity sensor module specified for your Venta dehumidifier model.
  • PCB replacement: If a new sensor does not resolve the error, the main control PCB may be defective.
