How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dehumidifier before inspecting the bucket mechanism.
- Empty and reinstall bucket: Remove the water bucket, empty it, and reinstall it firmly. Ensure it is fully pushed in and level.
- Check float movement: Inside the bucket or bucket compartment, locate the float mechanism. Verify that it moves freely up and down and is not jammed by dirt or scale.
- Inspect switch: Find the bucket full switch in the base (mechanical or magnetic). Confirm that it actuates when the float is raised. Clean any debris around it.
- Test with multimeter: With the unit unplugged, test the switch for proper open/closed operation as the float moves. Replace the bucket full switch if it fails.
- Check wiring: Ensure the harness from the switch to the main PCB is intact and properly connected.
