How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before opening the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If the panel was recently exposed to water (cleaning, spill), unplug the unit and allow it to dry for 24 hours in a warm, dry place.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front/control panel and check the flat ribbon cable for kinks, cracks, or corrosion. Reseat both ends carefully.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on the keypad PCB. If present, the board may need replacement.
- Replace panel: If F9 persists and buttons do not respond correctly, replace the display/keypad PCB. If the issue remains, the main control PCB may also be faulty.
