Possible Causes

Blown internal fuse on main PCB, Faulty power cord, Defective power switch, Failed main control PCB power supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Ensure the unit is unplugged before opening. Mains voltage is present inside.

  • Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another device. Reset any tripped breakers.
  • Inspect power cord: Look for visible damage. Wiggle the cord gently at the plug and unit end while plugged in (if safe) to see if power flickers. Replace the power cord if suspect.
  • Power switch: Confirm the power switch is in the ON position and not physically broken. Access the switch and test continuity with a multimeter. Replace the power switch if it does not close properly.
  • Internal fuse: Open the housing and locate the fuse on the main PCB. If blown, replace with the exact same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
  • Main PCB: If the fuse and cord are good but the unit remains dead, the main control PCB / power supply is likely defective and should be replaced.
