Venta Airwasher water level drops very quickly and requires constant refilling

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing internal sensors.

• Adjust settings: Lower the target humidity to a reasonable level (e.g., 45–50%). This will reduce runtime and water consumption.
• Check environment: Close doors and windows. Seal obvious drafts. In very dry climates or heated rooms, higher water use is normal.
• Verify sensor: Compare the unit's humidity reading with an external hygrometer. If the Venta reads much lower, the humidity sensor module may be under-reading and causing overrun. Replace if necessary.
• Fan speed: Use a lower fan speed setting if available to reduce evaporation rate.
