• Check environment: Inspect the room for water leaks, wet concrete, or other moisture sources. Address building moisture problems where possible.
• Adjust settings: Raise the humidity setpoint to a moderate level (e.g., 50–55%) or disable continuous mode if not needed.
• Use continuous drain: If available, connect a drain hose to the continuous drain outlet and route it to a floor drain to avoid frequent bucket emptying.
• Verify sensor accuracy: Compare the unit's humidity reading with an external hygrometer. If the unit reads much higher, the humidity sensor module may be over-reading and causing excessive run time; replace if necessary.
