Venta dehumidifier leaks water from the bottom instead of into the bucket

Safety: Unplug the unit and move it away from electrical outlets. Dry the area to prevent slipping.

• Check bucket placement: Ensure the bucket is fully inserted and seated correctly. An improperly installed bucket can cause water to bypass into the base.
• Inspect drain channel: Remove the bucket and look into the drain opening. Clean any slime or debris blocking the channel using a flexible brush.
• Open the unit: Remove the outer cover to access the internal drain pan and hose. Check for cracks in the pan and ensure the hose is securely attached and routed to the bucket or drain outlet.
• Repair or replace: Replace a cracked drain pan or reattach/replace a loose drain hose. Reassemble and test for leaks with a small amount of water.
