Venta humidifier or dehumidifier control buttons do not respond or respond intermittently

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.

• Dry the panel: If the panel was recently cleaned with liquid, allow it to dry completely for 24 hours.
• Inspect cable: Remove the front/control panel and check the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB. Reseat both ends.
• Check for corrosion: Look for signs of moisture damage on the keypad PCB. If traces are corroded, replace the keypad PCB.
• Replace keypad: If specific buttons never work or require excessive force, replace the membrane keypad / control panel assembly.
