Display shows “CF” or “Filter” and the humidifier or dehumidifier beeps periodically.

Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug before removing filters.

• Replace or clean filter: For Vicks humidifiers with wicking filters (e.g., Vicks V3700), remove the old wick and replace with a genuine Vicks or compatible wicking filter. For dehumidifiers, remove the air filter and wash with mild soap and water, then dry completely.
• Reset filter indicator: After replacing or cleaning, press and hold the Filter Reset button (or Power + Timer on some models) for 3–5 seconds until the CF or Filter icon clears.
• Regular maintenance: Check filters every 1–2 weeks in heavy use to prevent airflow restriction and premature wear.
