How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the bucket.

  • Empty bucket: Pull out the water collection bucket, empty it completely, and reinstall it firmly until it clicks into place.
  • Check bucket float: Inspect the float inside the bucket (if present) to ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the up position.
  • Inspect bucket switch: Locate the bucket safety switch in the bucket compartment. Press it gently with your finger; it should click. If it feels loose or does not click, it may be faulty.
  • Test with gentle pressure: With the unit unplugged, hold the bucket switch in the “bucket present” position and carefully slide the bucket in to ensure it engages properly. Adjust or replace the bucket or switch if misaligned.
