How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before opening the control housing.
- Dry out panel: If the panel recently got wet, unplug and allow the unit to dry in a warm, dry area for 24–48 hours.
- Check cable connections: Open the control housing and ensure the ribbon cable from the keypad to the main PCB is fully seated and not corroded.
- Inspect for corrosion: Look for green or white corrosion on the keypad contacts or PCB. Light corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Replace control panel: If specific buttons or the entire keypad remain unresponsive, replace the control panel membrane or the entire control PCB assembly.
