• Verify seating: Reinstall the tank on the base, ensuring it is aligned and fully seated. Misalignment can cause the valve to stay open or leak.
• Replace components: If the tank or valve assembly is cracked or the gasket cannot seal, replace the tank or valve assembly with the correct Vicks part.
