Possible Causes
Mineral buildup on transducer, Clogged mist outlet or chimney, Low water level in base, Fan running at low speed due to dust buildup
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug before cleaning.
- Clean transducer and base: Soak the base in a 50/50 vinegar and water solution for 20–30 minutes. Gently clean the transducer disc and surrounding area with a soft brush or cloth, then rinse thoroughly.
- Clear mist outlet: Remove the mist chimney or nozzle and rinse under warm water. Use a soft brush to remove any deposits or debris.
- Check water level: Ensure the tank is filled to the recommended level and properly seated so water flows freely into the base.
- Clean intake vents: Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust from air intake vents and fan grilles to restore airflow.
