Possible Causes

Control panel membrane switch failure, Moisture intrusion into control panel, Loose ribbon cable between panel and main board, Faulty display/control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.

Steps to restore control:

  • Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then plug back in and test the buttons.
  • Dry the panel: If the panel was exposed to water or high humidity, allow it to dry thoroughly. You can gently warm the area with ambient air (do not use high heat).
  • Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and reseat the flat ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the main board.

If buttons remain unresponsive, the control panel assembly may need replacement.
