How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and close the water supply before disassembly.
- Verify water supply: Confirm the shutoff valve is open and the supply line to the Adler ice maker is not kinked.
- Check reservoir fill: Observe whether the reservoir fills during startup. If not, test and replace the Adler water inlet valve.
- Confirm pump operation: Listen for water flowing over the evaporator. If silent, test and replace the Adler circulation pump.
- Check evaporator temperature: After 10–15 minutes of operation, the evaporator should be very cold and begin to frost. If it remains warm, a refrigeration issue exists and requires a certified technician.
