How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply valve.
- Drain the system: Run a manual drain or carefully siphon water from the reservoir.
- Clean reservoir and probes: Mix an Adler-approved ice machine cleaner with warm water. Soak and scrub the reservoir, water level probes, and any water quality sensor surfaces to remove scale.
- Rinse thoroughly: Flush the system with clean water several times to remove all cleaner residue.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Ensure the harness to the water quality sensor is intact and firmly connected to the control board.
- Install filtration: If not already present, add an Adler-compatible inline water filter to reduce future scale buildup.
- Reset error: Restore power, refill with fresh water, and clear E13 via the control panel or power cycle.
